GUESS THE WORDLE
Project Dates: July 2009 - June 2010
Each Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, a wordle (word cluster) will be posted.
Students are invited to dicipher the common topic that day's wordle might be and post their guesses into a google form.
Students/Teachers are invited to submit their own wordle. You can create wordles at httt://www.wordle.net
CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS
Project Dates: August 31 - September 18, 2009
3 activities will be provided for teachers to use with the book.
Activity 1 is compare/contrast, Activity 2 is weather, and Activity 3 is create a tall tale.
O.R.E.O. XI
Project Dates: September 21 -
October 16, 2009
Students will have 2 chances to stack the oreo cookies as high as they can before they tumble.
Students will record their highest stack to a class list.
The class list will be averaged and the final class average amount will be posted to the website.
There will be extension ideas as well as a voice thread opportunity to add your thoughts and pictures.

WHERE THE WILD THINGS WENT
Project Dates: October 12 -
October 30, 2009
Classrooms will read the story "Where The Wild Things Went"
Students/Teachers will choose from three ideas: extending the story, endangered animals, & verbs.
Classes may participate in a simultaneous reading from the book via Skype.
PUMPKIN SEED COUNT
Project Dates: October 28 - 30, 2009
PreK - 3rd Grade Only
Classrooms will open up to 3 (1lb to 5lb) pumpkins.
Pumpkin Seeds will be tallied and posted to the website.
Math and science ideas will be avaiable.

HOLIDAY CARD EXCHANGE
Project Dates: November 30 -
December 18th, 2009
Classrooms will be paired up with 24 other participating classrooms.
Classrooms are encouraged to create HAND MADE holiday cards to mail (1) to each classroom on their list.
Classrooms can create a KMZ of their location to send to the project page from Google Earth.
Teachers are encouraged to create a map (either wall or google earth) of where they receive cards from.
Geography and math ideas will be provided.

EVERYONE COUNTS
Project Dates: February 1 - 26, 2010
Classrooms will be participating in a census and post results to an online collection of responses from
schools all over the world.
Activites and lesson plans are provided to assist teachers in teaching about the US Census 2010.
Teachers are encouraged to team up with other classrooms and share results via skype,
wikis, blogs, or podcasts.
ST. PATRICK'S DAY PROJECT
Project Dates: March 15 - 19, 2010
PreK - 3rd Grade Only
Teachers will need to buy 1 box of Lucky Charms.
Students will tally the marshmellow shapes found in the box and create a class final count.
Their results will be posted to the project site.
Math, science, art, etc ideas will be available.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GREEN EGGS AND HAM
Project Dates: April 1 - 30, 2010
Green Eggs and Ham Turns 50 in 2010. (smiles, and so does Jen!)
Classrooms will read the book together.
Classroom are invited to participate in a simultaneous reading of parts of the book.
Classrooms are invited to participate in cooking, math, art, history, language, and literature ideas.
It is possible that 2 more ideas will be added to this page during the year.
